Quality Assurance Dept.

Stringent evaluations based on control chart managementUncompromising quality in inspection of raw materials!
We also aim to improve our legal and intellectual property practices

The Quality Assurance Dept. is in charge of the various tests and analysis we run, including gas chromatography, high-performance liquid chromatography, and IR/UV spectroscopy. The department is also responsible for the final pass/fail decision. Guided by a high sense of responsibility, we ship only products that have passed rigorous inspections.
A key feature of our quality assurance process is the management of control charts. Committed to providing high-quality products that meet the standards our customers demand, we rigorously apply conventional statistical methods to both our own products and raw materials we procure. Inspections are carried out only by staff who are internally qualified. While working to promote the professional development of our staff, we have built a top-class quality evaluation system.

Shipping only products within ±3Σ: “Just about good enough” isn’t in our vocabulary

Our Quality Assurance Dept. does not share the belief that a product is fine to be shipped as long as it falls within specifications. All products are subjected to rigorous inspection using control chart management, and only those that meet the stringent standard of ±3Σ or less are shipped.

We also operate on the principle that it is impossible to create high-quality goods unless we use high-quality raw materials. Based on this belief, we also apply control chart management to our raw materials. This evaluation system has enabled us to maintain a high first-pass yield rate. All members of the Quality Assurance Dept. have obtained our internal qualification, the Competence Certification System. With a high sense of responsibility about their duties, members of the department do not overlook even the slightest abnormality.

Our client base also helps keep our quality standards high. As a company focused mainly on producing small quantities of a wide variety of materials, we are subject to customer audits throughout the year. Our clients, many of whom are large companies listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, provide us with insightful feedback concerning inspection items and evaluation standards, which helps us grow.

As a result, we were able to receive the highest rating from a large-scale manufacturer. While sharing our joy with the production team, this renewed our motivation to take our business to the next level. With legal and intellectual property duties also divided up, we will work to conduct precise and speedy quality assurance.
